Mixed Bag Designs

I ran Mixed Bag Designs' Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest accounts. In the time since I left, the company has rebranded and changed names to Boon Supply. Our demographic was primarily parents with school-age children, educators, and other decision-makers who would consider running a fundraiser. The brand feel is friendly, happy, educational and fun. Below are a few examples, but feel free to visit the accounts for more!

St. Louis Symphony

I was the Marketing Intern at The St. Louis Symphony from September 2012 - March 2013. During my time there, I helped develop concert-specific promotions, wrote copy, and assisted in projects ranging from archiving to advertising distribution. Working at an organization as reputable and important as The Symphony was both rewarding and a lot of fun.

I helped develop a social media promotion for the performance of Strauss' Merry Pranks, a song poem depicting the mischievous antics of Till Eulenspiegel, a beloved character in German folklore. I took the photos and wrote the copy for a series of posts that acted out scenes of Till's story.

Social Media Manager: Fusion Media Concepts

I began working for The Delmar Loop in a Social Media/Advertising internship Summer 2011. After that, Jessica Bueler, former President of The Loop Special Business District, began her own Social Media company. Fusion Media Concepts focused heavily on Delmar Loop clients. I  worked with Jessica through the whole business building process, and learned about entrepreneurship in addition to social media, marketing and advertising.

Cross-Country Road Trip Winner

In August 2012, I won a cross-country road trip with Car Rental Express. In addition to being a good traveler and planner, the winner was required to update Twitter and Facebook for CRX multiple times a day, have giveaways while on the road, blog, and take lots of photo and video.
